Him and Fedotenko are really playing themselves out of contracts next year.
Actually, Fedotenko was our second best player this game.

What the hell happened to Kunitz? Guy sucks.

I don't want to blame Fleury. He made some nice saves, but he's been pretty inconsistent this series. Fleury is Ovechkin's new punching bag. The difference between these two teams is that Washington can finish and we can't. It's not over, 2-0 is not insurmountable as we all know. Someone other than Crosby will need to get some results.

And Geno should give back all his playoff money because he sucks.

If sykora plays next game both Shero and Blysma should hit the road.
There's no question the compete level needs to be ratcheted up by a number of the top 6 forwards, but I really believe the Pens will get themselves back into this series. Winning and losing is a fine line...I think the Pens will get some bounces back home. I certainly feel better about this 0-2 hole then 0-2 hole last year in the Cup final.

G-damn lousy effing powerplay!! Just sickening. Absolutely killed us.

All because Mario/Shero retained that stupid buffoon Yeo when they fired Therrien. I will never, ever understand that move .. never, as long as I live.

I've said from the getgo that he's a glorified third line winger on a bad contract. He's proving it.

He was good his first few games. That's it.

Damn, its games like these where the Malkin vs Ovy debate looks pretty stupid. Malkin is Ovy's *****.

Bylsma is way overusing Gonchar, the guy has no energy at all.

Deflating losses.

Are you watching Gonchar? The guy that glides up the ice with the puck and doesn't skate at all? The guy that will turn a puck over to avoid a hit? The guy that doesn't try in our end on the PP and thinks it should be a walk in the park and nobody will check him?

Wow! That's what's called "heartless".

I'm not stupid, ask any Capital Fan about good old Sarge. So he had one moment. A moment doesn't make a career. Two out of three playoffs with the Penguins he has been lifeless and I wonder if he will ever be the same after his injury when he is afraid of friggen Alex Semin.

I hate ripping on this team but man I don't know how the hell something so obvious has been allowed to remain an issue continuously. It isnt about the players, we have world class talent. We got the guy to park in front of the net that we were saying we needed. We have a right handed shot (guerin, or kennedy) but we don't use Guerin that way and for some reason Kennedy isnt used on the PP either. We do the same stupid crap every time, it's force a pass to Gonchar for the shot that usually never even makes it to the goalie. There is no use of the other side of the ice at all and we never have to keep goaltenders honest.

The reason the caps have a great PP is largely because they are coached better, and they utilize both sides of the ice.

All 3 of our goals were scored tonight within a few feet of the net. Garbage goals kept this game close, and it kept it close last game as well. Food for thought for this team going into game's 3 and 4.

Ovie's 3rd goal was nice, but is it that hard to stick a guy on him? Hello Hal Gill your new dance partner on the PK is #8 you are to stay within 4ft of him at all times, if they score so be it, but it won't be #8 shooting into wide open nets on the PP.

And you know what's sad? Fleury's been great. That being said, Varlamov is lights out right now. The kid is a gamer, that's for sure.

But, honestly, as a hockey, how can't you like a game like that. 3 goals for Ovy, 3 goals for Sid, a close finish, hitting, scoring, nice saves, this match up has everything. Of course, you don't win championships playing that kind of hockey, but if that kind of display doesn't sale the game in the States, nothing will. And that comes from a fan of blue collar hockey.
