Looks like Russia is going to play the winner of SWE-CZE in the semis?

Matts Sundin plays for Canada?

How has Marc-Edouard Vlasic been so far?

He didn't play very well during the playoffs, so i'm wondering how he does at the Worlds.

Almost.

I think the preposition
"for" should be "in"
But I think you could use
him today.

I mean, we all know what
region rules in hockey since
the last OGs...

I'm not going to complain about the ref's, but it's common knowledge that Vinnerborg and Bulanov are the two worst international ref's there is, they have proven it time and time again.

The Canada goal was all on Rinne, he "Pasi Nurminen'd" it in all by himself.

I hope the rest of this game is as good as the first, this is finally starting to look like hockey.

Komaroville illan ottelu on oiva paikka näyttää omaa osaamista.

Great period from the Lions! We could have scored more...

Canada will bounce back though...they always do but we just have to keep on playing like that and give pressure to their defense and out skate them overall!

But hey that is some entertaining hockey or what!?

Neither Coburn nor Vlasic have been very good.

Second that. I expect Canada to pick up at the 2nd, we need Rinne to play well. Should be a good game.

To make it clear since those TV idiots claim that Canadian goal went off of Rinnes back, it didn't. The goalcam clearly showed that the puck went past the goal line off of Rinnes glove or pad, not his back.

For years if Canada loses, I've always cheered for Finland.
Not just their style of play is similar to Canada's but people from Finland are in my opinion the friendliest in Europe.

Coburn can skate really well, but he needs a mean streak. He lacks an edge which I feel holds him back.

I might be watching a different feed that you, but on TSN they said it went off his glove when they showed the replay.

There's some good for- and
back checking and we're able
to create chances by stealing
the puck in the CAN zone by
some good hitting too, but
I still want to see more blue
meat in front of Roloson.
