Good pressure from DEN.
They'll take this, I'm sure of it now.

After they not only survived
the penalties in the beginning
of the period, but actually
scored a SHG, the period has
been a DEN period.

Me likes.

Finally we see some great hockey from the Danes, theway they kept the puck and pressure 6 on 5 was just fantastic.

We can do this...if we do it is another thing.

2-2 after 2 periods

After a quick start by Austria the Danes have tied up the game in period 2. It is the expected close game.

A couple of good chances
from DEN already.

2 mins for AUT - maybe
the DEN PP will succeed now?

C'mon Galbraith, shut that door and we have it.

Mads Christensen has been a STAR.

3-2 Denmark c'mon!

Its sad...I would be really frustrated if I went for Austria, or if Austria went on to win this game. You are the 2nd best team in the relegation group, and you are 3 points clear of the Germans...there is no justice if you get eliminated and they remain in, despite where the tournament is. Should Australia apply to host the World Championships, so they are guaranteed a spot in it, only to get spanked 20-0 in every game?

Mikkel Bødker 5-2. Time to fire Per Backman, and take a step forward next year, make the quarter finals like we should have been challenging for this year
