I doubt they have the money. Stapleton, maybe. Nylander? No chance in hell, besides he wants to play with his brother so Jokerit would have to sign them both.

Now how does this sound:

Bremberg - Pirnes - Hentunen
Lahti - Tähtinen - Rita
Stapleton - Nylander - Nylander

Fredrik "linkan" Bremberg. What a amazing player. Such a wizard. He's one of my favourite players at Jokerit. With puck he's just magical. At the moment Bremberg has get Janne Hauhtonen (who is offensive player) doing points. I can't even find words to discrobe this guy. Hope he plays Jokerit also next season.

Here is his points in SM-Liiga.

17. Bremberg, Fredrik Jokerit #19 H 24 10+19=29

Jokerit has now won their last 5 games, no doubt helped by the arrival of Jortikka and the movement of Hauhtonen onto Brembergs line.

Wonder if there will be any late additions, or they'll go with this team now for the rest of season.

The team also extended Joe Rullier's contract to whole season. Hauhtonen is working fine between Linkan and The Bull From Joroinen but I still think if they would sign ok center (3rd line and possible injury replacement to upper lines) the team could go all the way... it still can if everything clicks perfect plus Riksman stays healthy *knocks on the wood*...playoffs are different world and we have experienced players.

Battaglia - Pirnes - Rita
Bremberg - Nylander - Hentunen

That looks ri-di-cu-lous. Too bad Nyllet doesn't play versus Ässät, would've loved to see the guy in action today at Pori.

It's quite obvious Bremberg-Nylander-Hentunen can't be a line, 'cause there's none of them would defend Actually, I don't think the opposition would even get the puck so no need for defence...

Lahti

Or whatever the lines may be, thats some serious fire-power.

Defences and goalies dont look bad either!

Still two days to make more moves

Minor move that our 11th D Jere Ölander was loaned to Kiekko-Vantaa for rest of the season.

from jokerit.com

Tälle kaudelle on otettu käyttöön uusi sääntöpykälä, joka mahdollistaa tiettyjen juniori-ikäisten pelaajien siirrot liigan ja Mestiksen välillä helmikuun loppuun asti eli hetkeen, jolloin Mestiksen runkosarja päättyy. Näitä pelaajia saa liikuttaa vapaasti seurojen välillä.

SM-liigaseuroja pyydettiin nimeämään riveistään viisi pelaajaa, joihin voidaan soveltaa uutta sääntöä. Jokereista he ovat puolustajat Teemu Eronen, Tommi Kivistö ja Nico Manelius sekä hyökkääjät Ilmari Pitkänen ja Teemu Pulkkinen.

Heidän pelaamisensa Mestiksessä vielä tämän kauden aikana on siis mahdollista. Tänä viikonloppuna kaikki ovat kuitenkin mukana A-nuorten tärkeissä otteluissa, joissa joukkue yrittää varmistaa paikkansa pudotuspeleissä.

Short translation. League teams are asked to name five juniors that can be moved between league and Mestis during February.

You really think Bremberg and Nylander are going to play on the same line? There's only one puck, you know.

And what about the defense?

Let's see how they will do together but I would prefer them separated.

Well after this signings Jokerit has only one target and that's champion. I think we have good chances to get top 6 at the regular season. Playoffs will be very interesting this season. SM-League teams are stronger than last season. Here plays many star players atm.

Jokerit next match in Hartwall arena is quite full. The game is 12.2. and only 1500-2000 tickets are left to the game. That's nice.

Today's game with TPS Jokerit lines looks like this:

Bremberg-Nylander-Hentunen
Lahti-Pirnes-Rita
Ben-Amor-Battaglia-Lind
Saarinen-Mäki-Vauhkonen

Kauppinen-Brooks
Kalteva-Koivisto
Niemi-Mälkiä

Riksman

That's look very good roster. I can't wait the game begins.

It's 11.2 Thursday and I think it will be packed...I just bought a ticket from the balcony and in that section you couldn't get 2 seats next to another.

I've been bashing the management here a lot but I have to give credit to them when they deserve it. They didn't throw the season to the trashcan but
tries to get the success this season after the horrible start...even though it's short term fixing (I liked those JYP's 1,5 year contracts with Makkonen and Pihlström) and maybe Jortikka agreed to the coaching position only if he gets some new players.

This is for Hjallis & Masa:

And those 5 guys are above. It looks atm that it's hard for Teemu Pulkkinen to get ice time up (now destroying at the A-juniors) so maybe moving him to K-Vantaa would be the best for him.

Edit. Teemu Pulkkinen and Tommi Kivistö loaned to K-Vantaa.

I'll first say that I'm a HIFK fan before I begin my bashing, but I have to agree that Nylander didn't look too good in the game against HIFk that I saw last week. Very egocentric with the puck, lazy and seems that he is unable to trust his linemates. He is of no use if he cycles with the puck dippsydoodling in the corners. And from what I have read from Jatkoaika.fi, that was one of his better games during his short stint in Jokerit.
