So what's the deal with Nylander, is he coming in tonight, or will Bruce find a way to avoid dressing Mr Useless?
Looks like Fehr isn't skating and Nyles is skating with Gordo and Clark per Tarik. So I would assume he's going to be in tonight (not that it makes much difference).
I dont see Nylander doing much worse than Fehr. If Nylander stiffles the offense, very simple, just stick him on the 4th line. Spela försvar. Problem solved.
I think they should check Mo's twig to see if its corked before checking Ovi's curve.

hey stretch took a call on my broken twig on the PK obsession. Nothing will come of it, but maybe next year Laich Mo and the boys will wise up. IIRC, Ovi broke his stick shooting for the empty net at the end of game 2.
It's not the perceived whininess that's bothering me - I think every fan base (including ours) is guilty of that. It's their general insecurity re: anything Crosby + black and gold goggles that bothers me.
what can one expect with the leagues all time whiner and complainer as their owner, and his little training room downstairs. ML always especially hated the caps because we always were proactively hooking and holding him focusing on team defense as priority one. I think an overwhelming majority of his fights were against the caps. Whiners and complainers just move onto the next item once the squeaky wheel has gotten the grease.

Precisely. Whining and complaining is an organizational motto for them. Leadership begins at the top, and their owner is the biggest whiner in league history.
And yeah, I watched the Ovechkin goal where Cooke was "interfered" with many times. It was 100% incidental contact.
Yeah, it looks like Cooke went inside to try and help out on the draw then when Backstrom won it pretty clean back to Green he tried to go outside through Semin. It was him going inside first that caused him to not be able to get to OV not Semin doing anything illegal.
