Let's take a minute to remember Ville Koistinen's questionable goal from last years WC's.

I had never seen Torts so angry after they reviewed it and called it a goal

Pyörälä made fast recovery and should be in the lineup.

This game might be physical and that´s the way I like it!

Here's to hoping that Finland can keep up the intensity from the game against Canada!

Two US players involved in a huge scandal

John-Michael Liles and Patrick O'Sullivan were spotted in downtown Bern late last night with a bag of junk food.

The horror story in Finnish, a picture included.

Once again Finnish "journalists" prove their class.

Yes a physical game is ok but hopefully there are no ugly, dirty and unfair checks like the one of Brackes against Sprunger in the USA-Switzerland game.

Here's some upgraded info about the roster of Finland.

- It's not sure if Nummelin will play or not. If Nummelin will play that makes Niinimaa the 7th defender. If Nummelin won't play that means that Niinimaa will see ice-time...
- Pyörälä will be back in this game and that makes Vahalahti extra forward and Kerman a healthy scratch. Pyörälä will take either Vahalahti's place in the third line or Pihlman's place in the second line. If Pyörälä goes to second line, Pihlman will be removed to replace Vahalahti in the third.
- Koistinen won't play, still injured.

Why isn't it sure that Nummelin plays? He is neither sick nor injured, isn't he? For the finnish Team he is very important especially in the PP. That would be a big loss for Team Finland.

He injured himself in the end of the CAN game. It was unclear whether he'll play, but according to the latest info he'll be on ice tonight.

SCANDAL! Also note how red O'Sullivan's face is, he must be drunk!

Is this a fact? Why they changed two well-balanced d-pairs into those? Seems weird...

The game notes on the USA Hockey website say that Esche will start. Personally I would start Clemmensen, Esche has not played well in this tournament. But it would be pretty tough to give a guy his first start in an elimination game. I think Ron Wilson made a big mistake not starting Clemmensen in the Switzerland game, it was a meaningless game for the USA and if nothing else we could have seen what Clemmensen can do.

The only alternative or Tortorella, and after the water bottle throwing incident two weeks ago, I'm not sure he's got the temperment to handle a USA-Canada game being played in Vancouver.

That's a bit unfair to Wilson. He isn't in a great situation where goaltending is concerned.
