See! Just like I called it. Russia's feeling demoralized because they've dominated play and not scored, and the USA is starting to take advantage. Can I call it or what? (pats himself on the back)

better in not scoring, yes.

the US guys play great D and always get a stick in the lane. hard-working team.

while russia puts much pressure on, they lack a bit the scoring instinct they usually have. they think too much.

very good game, nice to watch.

We've been much better in this period. I like what we've done defensively. We're blocking shots and batting away passes. That hit on Kovalchuk to knock him off the puck was a terrific defensive play. Wish I'd seen who did it. And, we're staying out of the penalty box.

Kind of cool watching sans announcers. Feels more like being at a game. I'm digging the US whites.

Russia's passing in this game is brutally poor.

The US needs to stop with 2 man deep forecheck. That plays right into Russia's game.

Man, a line of Ovechkin, Malkin, and Kovalchuk at the 2010 Olympics. I'm sorry Canada, I know you think you're entitled to victory because you're at home (and because you're Canada) but I don't see how you can go up against that line with the pressure you're going to be under and win.

Kovalchuk is so much better than anyone else on the ice that it's not even funny.
