Dan Hamhuis. He's so underrated, and while Weber gets all the credit in Nashville, he's the one shutting down top players.

This WHC, he was the best defenseman for Team Canada with Doughty being #2/3.

Geez, I actually thought Bieksa before Pominville... I took him, even though I think Pominville is a rather under-publicized player around HF.

Bieksa for me, though.

Have to pick Pominville on this one, but Sharp isn't that far behind him.

I'd take Pominville over Cammaleri and Hesmky... so Pominville

It'd be cool after this poll is done to put where they fit now and where they were originally drafted and see the difference... something like...

Here are the results so far:

1) Ilya Kovalchuk (1) =
2) Jason Spezza (2) =
3) Mikko Koivu (6) +3
4) Ales Hemsky (13) +9
5) Derek Roy (32) +27
6) Mike Cammaleri (49) +43

Yeah I can do that.

Also for future draft re-do's, instead of providing the link to the draft page on hockeyreference.com, I'm going to have the player stats in the thread from the get-go. It will include my original list of 15 players plus extra players where applicable.

Pominville is close, but I gotta go with Sharp. 36 goals last year, and was on pace for the mid-thirties this year before injury.

Very close.
