Taylor Hall. I've seen all 3 play in the OHL several times and Hall is the best of the 3, followed by Stamkos.

It's tough to argue with that statement.

I'm surprised that TSN hasn't jumped on his wagon yet. They have been playing highlights of Tavares now every night for the last 4 ****ing years.

The TSN panel talked about this a week or two ago. According to Bob McKenzie, he talked to several scouts about where Hall would go if he were in this draft class. A couple had him at #1, most had him in the mix for a top four spot but not #1. Some had him as low as 7 or 8.

So generally, most scouts feel like Tavares is a better NHL prospect than Hall.

I just watched Hall for the first time in a full game, great speed, hands, vision, it looked like he was lackingsome poise that will come with time but his shot didn't loook like much. Is he lacking in the shot deparment? Duchene for me, I have seen him play 5 times this year and he has improved drastically in the last few months, if this kid keep progressing on this pace over the next 3 or 4 years we will have one of the league most prolific point scorer.

I can't take OHLers over a NHL sophomore with a solid rookie season already under his belt.

Matt Duchene.

Very good in both zones....and he's a leader. I just think he'll be a Mike Richards type of player [a little less nasty though, but more offense]

Very tough poll.

Stamkos will be a very exciting player, who IMO will turn out much like a Kovalchuk, but perhaps without being so physically imposing... that bullet shot is amazing, and he's so young yet.

Duchene, I have a feeling, people will steer clear of in this poll, just because he's not a #1, as the other is, and Hall projected to be at this time. However, Duchene is truly an incredible talent. If you've seen this kid play, you know the stats don't quite do him justice. He's a rocket on skates, has a terrific shot, plays well both ways, makes a great pass, and isn't afraid of getting dirty. He's great at getting his shots off before the defender has a chance to get a read on him, and at the same time, he can fool you with a pass. He'll be an amazing player, near the top of the league in the scoring column, when he's a finished product.

Hall, some say is reminiscent of Bure and actually they're not too far off. His speed is unmatched by most; his shot, like these other two, is terrific. When he gains more strength (in relation to the NHL), he'll be even more dangerous, as he'll be able to better protect the puck against those NHL defenders. He's truly a star in the making, who could reach the book value of a superstar in the league... just so exciting.

I went with Hall, even tho he's got time against him in that he could completely fall off the map (the thing is, so could the other 2). Hall is just too much of an explosive talent, in my viewings. Stamkos was a very similar player in that he was an exciting player to watch, but Hall to me possesses enormous scoring potential, at least higher than these other 2 in my eyes.
