With the 38th overall pick the LA Kings are exicted to select:

Jason Spezza

We (The Kings) had to give up a lot to move up in the draft, but we felt it was worth it to grab a guy with the skill-set that Jason Spezza possess'. Rick Nash has never had a top-line playmaking Centre, so the addition of Spezza will finally give Rick Nash the line-mate he always missed in Columbus!

LOL I was just saying to Porn* earlier how surprised I was that Spezza was still available. I to gave up quite a bit to move up to take Pronger. Had I not all ready had Lecavalier I probably would have done this deal as well to get Spezza.

It was a bit too give up, but think how deadly a combo of Nash - Spezza would be.

That makes them each 100 point guys (playing together) IMO.

Me too, i was actually trying to trade up and grab him - Savard (one pick before yours). But personally i'd rather have Spezza, he's bigger with better on-ice vision.

Although Savard is a lot gritter and faster than Spezza. Either way im very happy I landed one of them to play with Nash!
