I BELIEVE!

wow. ive just given up any chance of creating an 'identity' on here. what a day, far too long until 10:30.. i just sit and stare at the standings, pushing the oilers up the list in my mind.

i have this feeling that york will score early, horcoff later to reach 40. i hope the crowd in LA is nice and loud over CHED. but i think we all just want to sense that determination (as against Nash.) from the team right of the drop. heres to a team of moreaus tonight!

Yeah if something goes wrong, everyone has to go back to their old avatars.

I'm hoping the boys aren't too tired from last night.. does anyone have any word what the lineup is going to look like? I'd expect Hemsky to get another game but I personally would love to see Izzy in instead of Pisani or that talentless bum Ethan Moreau (just kidding! ). Should be a good one, I'll predict a 3-1 victory with goals from Smyth, Horcy and Staios..

Tussle in Tinsel Town

Can we have just one more ticket to the post-season dance please sirs?

The cost, of course, will be 7 more grueling games where buckets of blood, sweat and tears are lost as a playoff dream is born. But this dream truly begins and becomes all too real in Los Angeles as spring remains hopeful after the ’Oil’ D-Man served up Shark fin soup last night in San Jose.

For Heartland hockey fans who bleed copper at every Oilers’ loss and whose peepers well up with iced blue tears of joy at every win, tonight’s Scuffle at the STAPLES Center is worth the PPV price of admission. Why? BECAUSE WE STILL BELIEVE!

Can all the Kings’ horses and all the Kings’ men put their Humpty Dumpty playoff hopes back together again? On a three game losing tumble down the standings, LA’s 5 game home stand and “March to the Playoffs” (see the Kings website) is developing into an ‘Ides of March’ horror scenario. The Oilers must play Brutus to LA’s Caesar and suffers the Kings’ dieing gasp of: “Etu Oiler!”

With a game in hand the Hollywood hopefuls look to be too shell-shocked after a plethora of injuries have sucked dry their team energy to stay in playoff contention. The Copper and not a so Black & Blued roster has been getting healthier and team depth is vastly improved. Let them boys play, let them rock and roll!

Thus, I predict (no jinx intended) 3 - 1 Oilers in another defensive master piece!

LET'S GO OILERS, LET'S GO!!!!!!!!!!!!

Firstly, I'm going to crawl into this bomb shelter. Then I'll say 3-2 Kings.

Oilers: Smyth & Stoll

Kings: Visnovsky, Armstrong, Frolov

Frolov for LA, in the first where the Oilers get dominated. In the second, Moreau takes this team on his back, scoring 2 goals in less than a minute. In the third, Bergeron gets one on the PP. The Kings start putting on the pressure to try and come back, but Moreau puts them away with his hat trick goal.

I felt like being specific. I hope it works out.

So is Ty getting the start for sure?

I hope so. I'd like to save Jussi for the Stars.

The Oilers should come out and rip the cover off the Kings in this one. LA has to play even more desperately than the Oilers but Edm is on such a roll that if they stay out of the box they should win.

That being said, I won't be comfortable until or if the Oilers somehow clinch a spot and that's such a looong way off

this is getting confusing, all of you with the same avatar

I think the Oilers are unbeaten in regulation not only since Feb 25, but also if they are leading from the 2nd period, in which case if the Oilers are leading after 2 then we've won this......hopefully

GO OILERS GO !!

Horcoff & Hemsky both with a goal and a helper...
The Oil will take it 3-1 with the third goal being an empty netter.
