So can anyone here get any cheap rooms down in AC on Friday night? One of my co-workers is having his birthday party at Harrah's and they are staying at some hotel. Trying to find a nice place right near by for a reasonable price.

As long as you aren't drunk I think you'll be fine, my experiences on the other side haven't been favorable.

I've decided winning the lottery is the fastest and easiest way for me to afford my apartment.

Any tips on some winning numbers???

You can never go wrong with 69. It's a win-win.

I require a 60% mob inspired kickback should you have success with that.

Semi related anecdote, one of the worst burns I ever received was from trying to fry 5 cans of corned beef hash on a camping stove.

That's a good one, I was thinking of my brother splitting his chin open to the bone trying to grill a steak while smashed around 2am.

It's the kind of time where grilling is most dangerous, but maybe most desirable.

Isn't that the point of 69? Win-Win for both people?

Wait...

Sadly, I was thinking of posting a CantSeeColors joke when he posted Pi. But I decided it would have been in poor taste (seriously, who makes fun of color blindness, it's not like he has sausage fingers cuz he is a midget or something). Since CSC ended up doing it himself, I'm happy I didn't since his response made me laugh really loud.

Looks like your expenses need to be reduced. I say you need to cut out the drugs, alcohol and prostitutes, or at least cut it down to 2-3 nights a week.

One of my favorite series of posts ever. Even after CSC commented on the Pi above, I went and looked this up again and laughed my ass off. You're a really good sport CSC.

If I didn't do it right, just go to page 2....you'll figure it out.

I really like some historical stuff. I'll read any book as long as it's good. How about you?

I'll read across most genres; I was asking to get a gauge on some recommendations.

Since you say you like historical stuff, here's an option:

Spycatcher - Peter Wright

This is one of my all-time favourite books. Wright was an MI5 officer during the Cold War. The book details the defection of four prominant British agents (known as the Cambridge Four) to the Soviet Union, the most notable being Kim Philby; he also accuses the director of MI5 (Roger Hollis) of being a traitor. It's an entertaining book to read, but it's very difficult to find.
