Sad... very sad.

PJ Stock is... well, a Cheryesque clown, so I guess it'd make sense that the CBC would hire him.

Yeah and he's not serious enough... and he likes the Bruins so that explain all the hate on him.

Was this supposed to be a fluff piece? Because if I were in broadcasting and the best someone could say was that I had a poor grasp of the English language and a zany beard, I might take that the wrong way.

I just hate the fact that he can have such a nice playoff beard and I can't. The world is unfair.

I dont take everything he says seriously, but I find him pretty entertaining. Most of the time it seems he isn't even talking about sports, but its still funny. Sometimes he provides decent analysis also. I dont really know why some people absolutely hate him, but thats the way it goes. Also, you're right, his playoff beard is pretty legit.

Ron was giving him props about that article on HNIC. Can't believe he's been given these (albeit minor) accolades. Pretty useless article. I think we should just ask him to leave the city if he wants to keep on Hab-bashing or at least do it in french (which seems to be de rigeur). We have enough to deal with. A Bruins fan from Montreal? Blasphemy! I remember before game 2 against philly he was doing a segment in front of the BC and I wanted to go up him and just be like...what is your deal mean...just go away! Of course I hadn't spend my $50 on beer by that time (was an hour before entry).

aside: Pierre Mcguire got some award last year for best analyst or something...mannn...they are worse than the academy.

I have stopped listening to Team 990 cause of him.

He's annoying and he tries too hard to play the villain of Habs hockey and at times it gets so stupid the things that come out of his mouth.

I'm sure he's a nice guy and everything but I refuse to believe he does his job well, he just has his enthusiasm and personality working for him, not much talent.

Stock is a loser!!! He's on the Hate-the-Habs bandwagon like the rest of the CBC broadcasters.....so he loses all credibility right there. He has no clue what he is talking about....too many right-hooks to the noggin if you ask me.

yeah, up until the playoffs, I was pretty happy with TSN cuz they weren't like CBC with their bias (or at least it was not that obvious to me). They have a few Habs fans there, Darren Dutchesyn (I butchered that prolly) for one. Then once the playoffs rolled around, there was a distinct "kick the Habs while they're down" attitude". Even Duthie said some hurtful words and I liked him. Oh the betrayal. I'm pretty sure Dreger hooked up with Maggie. On set romances.
