I read threads here and LGK... and I tried to be positive on his play and I go to the kings games sit in section 117 and study his a$$$$ and he freaking sucks, cant hit, shoot or pass.... I blame him for the first 2 goals against Detriot.... I dont care if he is cheap do not resign him, we dont have a BOUCHER here....

I would trade an Aaron Miller and EBEL to get a good Goalie or First line Center... there are players out there but with the pending CBA, nothing will be settled....

OMG Poor Modry, im starting to feel bad. btw where do you sit in 117, My grandparents got season tickets in the first row there. I won't be there tonight, too many members of my family wanna go tonight.

Well, yeah they need to sign Ziggy.
Cechmanek and Miller are going to be Kings until next season's trade deadline. Who wants them? What do they bring to the table right now? Cechmanek, right now, is going to viewed as an over priced goaltender, who was more a product of the Philly system. So he has NO TRADE value. (a 6th rounder is not going to cut it). Miller? A 3+ million dollar defenseman who plays 40 games a season, who wants that???
But Modry and Stumpel are both gone at the end of the season. No matter how much the Kings LOVE Modry, he should be able to get 2 million per season, and with Visnovksy probably heading to arbitration, bye bye Modry.
While I agree in principal to this idea, I just want to point a couple of things out.
Carter will be a King without a doubt next year. We gave up Aulin for him and I don't see Taylor letting him have gone for a rental unfortunately.
Modry, I feel, that if we weren't planning on retaining his services would have been dealt at the deadline. I truly hope I am wrong but, something about the way he has been handled makes me reckon that the team is going to keep him. Likely will move Miller and resign Modry.
Stumpel, I still (hate to say this but) reckon that IF we had a legitimate number one center that he would have had a very good season for us by most standards. He isn't a number one center but has been made to play as one and this is why he looks bad on most nights.
Roman, I hope he is gone and while we gave up a second to get him, I would be willing to lose his salary and that pick to see him go. Especially with Kolzig and others available this summer. A real and legitimate number one goalie would have done wonders for us this year.
I want Ebell gone more than most and blame him for at least 6 games that we lost this year. I have been watching him as much as possible to see if I had placed my strong hammering of his play in the right place and he has been the direct reason that goals were given up in 6 of the games I were watching him in.
That is 6 of 15 games where he were responsible for the game winning goal scorer getting the opportunity to do so. Who knows how many others are his fault.
I want the players moved along that are costing us victories as well but, Andy has a different view of things. He reckons Modry as our best defenceman this year no doubt and would say that Ebell is doing a great job as well. I have to believe so or he would otherwise have addressed their awful play by now.
