Can't believe green isn't dead.

Outside shots are fun. Keep trying them!

To the extent you can teach away stupid and build up poise through reinforcing the right little things, it just hasn't happened.

I thought Varlamov would have run out of gas before now but the team in front of him hasn't been any better fundamentally.

I thought Luongo looked bad the other night, this is a mirror image performance!

Before I leave as well...

If Boston does not win tomorrow...Expect to see one of the WORST ECF in history...2 teams who get help from the NHL every game(PIT/CAR)...It will be 60 minutes of PP time...Whomever scores the most, WINS!

Although I don't think it matters, how did Cooke not get called for boarding Green? He was in a completely vulnerable position, and Cooke plastered him at full speed from behind.

The last time I was this jacked up over a game 7 was Detroit-Colorado in 02. Strangely similar.

The Penguins are on something. There is no way that they are that much better than the Caps.

This game ended when Fleury made that save on Ovie.

just checking in from the lawn mower. I see the wheels have fallen off. On the other hand reading this thread I would think the Caps needed a complete rebuild. They all suck....get rid of them all....Grow up

7-0 ROMP by Detroit...I'll never forget it...Especially since Roy was in net, and it was (if I remember correctly) his last game..

Getting 15-18 shots a period for a young goalie like Varlamov and expect him to play steller every game? Come on people. He's the only reason it's game 7.

On another topic, anyone else think this is going to be a 6-5 caps win?

I don't think we've had a combination passing play all series that wasn't on the powerplay. Maybe one or two passes. But nothing that sets anyone open like how malkin set up his guys.

Many of us said that this season was a success to get past the first round. This still holds true, but man, being down 4-0 in game 7 blows.

Well this team deserves the cup if they come back from a 0-4 deficit in a game 7.

Let hope they are that good.

But the D is terrible. I wonder when the Caps flighty offense will learn to rush towards the net and not wide when they want a pass in the O zone.

If we get 1-4 this period im willing to be positive, because i know that there is nothing worse than a 3 goal lead at the start of the 3rd period. stay positive
