Markov has been beaten twice by Sabres' speedy wingers in the second period that led to good scoring chances!

Does anyone else think that the check from behind on Souray warranted a call???

Big third period coming up... If we score one on the PP we'll win it.. if not it doesnt look so good.

Poor period played by the habs... If, at least, they could lost with some dignity

I'm sick of Souray always getting hurt. It's what will always hold him back from being the true no. 1 he's shown. As for the game, I'm not surprised at all. We always manage to suck the big one in Buffalo. 6 straight losses there, shutout twice and 1 goal in four others. Anemic in Buffalo. We'll get our customary goal, but wait until the next Buffalo tie, OT loss or loss and we're automatically in. Then again, we'll end up being 7th or relinquishing 8th with efforts like this. We always lose on the Island too, so it's a possibility. But missing the playoffs? Severely unlikely. Watch us beat the Sens tomorrow after this crapola game. Last time we got a point down 2-0 after three on the road was against the Wild. What is it with the Sabres at home? They always beat Toronto and Montreal.

There should be a slashing call too, on the same play. Just before being hit from behind

Flat and lifeless... You know it's going to happen once in a while, especially against teams bellow you in the standings, but still, you hate to see it.

Man I hope Souray isn't seriously injured. That would be quite catastrophic. He needs to get back into game shape before the playoffs begin.

I don't think I'll watch the last period. 9/10 when a team comes out as asleep as Montreal did here, there's little chance they'll wake up in time to make a game out of it.

We didn't see the Habs playing without any kind of jump for a long time, but there's no doubt this is one of those dreaded nights.

Let's look at the positive. We'll have plenty of energy for our next game against Ottawa.

That's what I thought..

...but it doesn't matter now. Put that behind us and watch the habs maybe pull another trick out of their hat..

(hopeful thinking? ... yes.. but maybe they can do it.. )

I think Souray was hurt by that crosscheck from behind....I think it was Mair or Peters.....it looked like his head snapped back quite abit.

It was Peters.. that dirty little .... grr.. he charged right at Souray and landed a stick and two hands across Souray's upper back.. his head snapped back quite a bit. I was suprised that Souray didn't look hurt at first.. then before Souray left the ice he skated around in front of Garon looking in retty bad shape..
