Selanne feeds an open Ebbett in the slot. Ebbett shoots it into a Wing (who I don't believe was even in line with the goal).

But hey, at least it's not Morrisson.

Pp completely failing us. Horrible. Also, funny to see brown get 5 for blood, but Stuart only gets 2 for the same thing.

The final four spots are reserved for the last four teams remaining. Followed by the division champs who didn't make it to the Conference Finals. Then it's reverse order in points after that.

30. Cup Champ
29. Cup runner-up
28. Conference Final loser with more points
27. Conference Final loser with fewer points
26. San Jose (Islanders own the pick now)

But to sum up, the Ducks lose and they'll pick 15th. If the Ducks win, they'll pick 27, 29, or 30.

Was there a more recent rule change (post 2007 or so)? Because I swear they made it so all the 1st round losers pick before anyone who got past the 1st round (15th-22rd). I just wasn't sure if it continued past that.

Woot. Selanne was timed perfectly. An extra carom or half second and Selanne's too far past the goal to stash it in.

See Whitney? That's what happens when you actually shoot and actually hit the net.

I can't say I'm really that excited though.

Nice, according to the Detroit fans on the MB Teemu was faking it. I love ten years olds.

I'm pretty sure there was...by my recollection, SJ picks 22nd and we'd have 23rd with a loss...
