awesome, 100th post and the game hasn't started yet. I love this board.

IMO, this is the game of the year. If we win, we should get a playoff spot. We have enoough winnable games left that we have nobody to blame if we miss out. Without Zubov, this game is ours for the taking. Dallas is a great team but their best player (arnot) only scores at home so this is the one of two games we have the best shot at.

If we lose, then the other teams have easier schedules, games in hand, and the tie-breaker. The impact of losing this game cannot be underscored.

Oiler 3
Dallas 2

in overtime. Brewer with the winner.

I sure as hell BELIEVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You'll have to excuse me. I'm a little slow like that.

for me the best players on the stars right now are Mike Modano and Sergei Zubov. They were incidentally the two reasons why we lost the playoffs to the Stars.

If we get to overtime and lose, I'll be happy with that.

I'm getting impatient. I'm so pumped about this game. Why can't it be game time now? So how do you think the game will start? Will the teams be hesitant? Will Dallas come out strong and Edmonton have to weather the storm? Will...

Lots of options but I think both teams will come out flying. They both know each other quite well, and it is the Oilers biggest rivalry IMO. Arghh, I'm getting antsy... :p

Stoll pots another winner...Oil win it 3-2 midway through the third.

Anyone hear the lines yet???????

I'd like to see:

Smyth Horcoff York
Torres Nedved Dvorak
Moreau Stoll Laraque
Isbister Oates Hemsky

I predict this thread is 15 pages long by the end of the night.

And the Oilers win 3-2 in overtime.

Goals by Nedved, Horcoff and Dvorak.

Oh, and Mikhnov sees how great it is here and signs.

if you guys look up to the sky right now, you'll see that Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, and Saturn have aligned in the sky. This will occur till early April and won't happen again for another thirty years.

see...even the planets have aligned for the Oilers...

I think Mihknov will get the winner assisted by Hemsky and Stoll.

USC TROJANS:

Yes, it appears even the planets have shifted in favor of a late-season Oiler playoff drive.

That said, I think the alignment will happen again at the end of the year, only that time it will occur in the pre-dawn hour (instead of the evening).

GO OIL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

10-9 Dallas in OT...Arnott gets 10 goals and recieves 1-2-3 stars and hte fans gives him a standing O. By default, he is named the leagues MVP....ok, serious, i say 3-2 Stars in OT. I've been predicting losses for the OIl but they have won so i'll just keep on predicting loses.

Awesome news indeed, here's some more:

Canucks up 1 - 0 on the Kings so far. They are dominating the Kings in amazing ways. Murray is already calling a time out. Kings look like nothing right now.
