17 yo left footed, left sided midfielder. One of the few playmakers on that U17 team, has good speed, can't say much more as I haven't seen tons and most was against "poor" competition. While he is from California, he also has a German passport...hence why he was able to sign with 'Pool.
Guess I'll have to mention HJK Helsinki's 17-year old Joel Pohjanpalo here. Scored 33 goals in 21 matches last season in the Finnish 2nd division for HJK's "farm team" Klubi 04. Today in the opening round of the Finnsih Veikkausliiga, he scored a hat rick in 3 minutes. Turned down a 3 year offer from Liverpool recently. 15 new players within the U17 selection of Oranje, but they managed to defend their title as European Champs, beating Germany in the final. Nathan Aken of Chelsea impressed me a lot.
Most interesting player from the german team is Schalke's Max Meyer of course. Other interesting players are the captain Leon Goretzka (Bochum), Frankfurt's Marc Stendera (who has received a surprise call up just a few weeks before the tournament started) and Rightback Pascal Itter (Nürnberg).
In FM10 or FM09, can't remember which, I signed Aguero for Barça and used the editor to create the kid in the Barça youth ranks. Of course I never get past a season or two so I never saw how he turned out.
- PSG and Napoli have agreed on a 25M€ transfer of Lavezzi.
- Montpellier has told Mbiwa he was allowed to leave if the offer's right. Napoli are hot after him.
- Montpellier has already contacted a replacement for Giroud, who's expected to leave.
- Belhanda has said he'd stay, but frankly, if two of the three best players on the team leave (him being the other), I'm not sure he stays. Liverpool are very interested. PSG as well.
Joel Pohjanpalo really is having a great season 12 goals in 22 games (in all competition's) so far as a 17 year old, he will be gone by either the Janaury transfer window or next summer
Adam Morgan - FWD - Liverpool FC
I watched this kid in a friendly and I said to myself who is this kid Liverpool brought in. He was already in the system. Looks good. I wonder if Rodgers will give him a shot this season.
Edit: 10 years down the line after he scores 100 goals for Liverpool and they name him captain.. you get.... Captain Morgan!! oh n/m.

Recently scoring on his first team debut for Liverpool during the Red's pre-season tour of the USA against Toronto FC, Morgan has already been compared to Anfield legend Robbie Fowler. Impressing new coach Brendan Rogers, Liverpool's next big striker could be a local lad and has been prolific at youth level for both club and country. Capped by England Under-19s, Morgan is unlikely to make his breakthrough this season, but the future looks bright for the Liverpool graduate.
Already compared to Liverpool legend Robbie Fowler is 18 year-old striker Adam Morgan. The latest talent to come of the Anfield production line, Morgan has been prolific at youth level and has already been capped by England Under-19s. Morgan was recently taken on Liverpool's pre-season tour of the USA by new coach Brendan Rodgers and quickly impressed after scoring in Liverpool's 1-1 friendly against Toronto FC.
Morgan who has an excellent left foot and eye for goal scored over 80 goals for the club at Under-10 level. During the 2010/11 season, Morgan finished as top scorer for Liverpool's academy team with 21 goals, including 18 goals in 16 league games to help the Reds finish runner-up to Everton in their division and 3 goals in 4 games in the FA Youth Cup. This included a run of scoring in 13 consecutive games, including a hat-trick against Sheffield United.
This impressive form led to international honours and promotion to Liverpool's reserve team and just weeks before his 17th birthday scored on his reserve team debut against Bolton. The young starlet was named in England's Under-17 squad for their 2011 European and World Championships in which he scored one goal in nine appearances against Canada.
On 1 July 2011, it was announced that Morgan had signed a contract extension at Anfield to keep him at the club until June 2014. During the 2011/12 season, Morgan split his time between the academy and the reserves. Most of his appearances came for the under-18s where he again topped the scoring charts with 13 goals in 21 games. He scord 5 goals in 17 appearances for the reserves and at the NextGen Series, described as the Champions League of youth football, Morgan scored three times.
In his first professional game for Bochum in the Bundesliga 2, Leon Goretzka picked up his first goal. This kid is a great talent and leader, with a big future ahead of him.
18 year old Finnish defender Jere Uronen looks like a good young player, currently plays for Helsinborgs and has played in 3 out of 4 champions league qualifying games so far this season
Played 20 games for TPS senior team last season
Got his first cap against Turkey earlier this year and will probably play against Northern Ireland next week
I'll be interested to see how the next batch of yougsters from Southampton's famed acadamy do this season. Following in the footsteps of players like Matt Le Tissier, Alan Shearer, Wayne Bridge, Gareth Bale, Theo Walcott and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain etc.
The leading talents this year appear to be James Ward-Prowse, Luke Shaw, Calum Chambers and Jake Sinclair. These kids are only 16 or 17 years old, but there is a strong possibility that at least a couple of them could feature regularly in the Saints Premiership lineup this season.
Ward-Prowse and Shaw appear to be the most likely candidates. Watch this space.

Well first game of the season against the Champions and Ward-Prowse is in the starting 11. What a thrill for the kid. Played very well too. Keep an eye on this kid. Mark my words.
