I really enjoyed The Hangover, and in no way think it's overrated. I found it entertaining and laughed the whole way through, unlike certian comedies where the laughs are fewer are far between.

I don't go see movies much, but I say Star Trek and IMAX and enjoyed it a lot. I'll see transformers on DVD or something, not super excited for it. I am looking forward to Inglorious Basterds tho. I really want to see that.

The Hangover made me laugh 5 times max. One of the most overrated movies i've ever seen.

Just saw adventureland as well, that was AWFUL

Yeah i think you are right. She's very very pretty obviously but it just seems like shes the same character or close to it in every movie

Adventureland is one of the best movies of the year, for my money. Over 88% on Rotten Tomatoes.

Not really, as someone who has seen almost all of them, she's had a wide variety of characters.

What did you like about it? It wasn't very funny and i found the plot very overly dramatic and boring. After about 45 minutes i was just waiting for it to end.

I haven't seen close to all of her movies so i could definitely be wrong.

I dig this kind of stuff, I don't care if I knew how it was going to end 15 minutes into the movie. The soundtrack makes it fun too. I also DIDN'T see Twilight, so this is my first exposure to Kristen Stewart....I haven't seen her do anything else yet, and this was good as I thought the movie was cast perfectly. Also interesting to see Ryan Reynolds is in this kind of role. It made you wish you were there, kind of like Dazed & Confused, and I think that's what you look for with these kinds of movies.
Turned out that it wasn't the first time I saw Kristen Stewart though as I saw her in a TV Movie too.

It's a challenge to find, but they do come on every now and then. Especially the older ones (Manic is pretty good, also has Gordon-Levitt, Don Cheadle and Fulton Reed from the Mighty Ducks). You can skip The Good Girl, Abandon, and Big Trouble, you're not missing anything. Eulogy, she was in with Ray Romano, Hank Azaria, Kelly Preston, Jesse Bradford, Famke Janssen, Debra Winger - that's a pretty solid cast.

I'm watching Cabin Fever currently. One of the funniest bad movies of the 2000's....

"That guy asked for our help.... and we lit him on fire!"

and of course, the scenes with dennis....

btw, the hangover still sucks the big one

Also, I'd like to note that despite how much of a tool he can be in real life, Tim Robbins is definitely one of my favorite actors.

Human Nature (by far his best acting performance, i dont care what anyone else says)
The Shawshank Redemption
High Fidelity
Mystic River
Arlington Road
Nothing to Lose
Noise

etc etc..... he's the man

It also must be said that Elijah Wood is my least favorite actor of all time. Green Street Hooligans is one of the lamest movies I've ever seen and I think its all because of him. I like soccer a good bit, but god damn that movie was awful.

This has nothing to do with Elijah Wood, but i just rewatched Lost in Translation and that movie easily makes my top ten

I would also like to reiterate that Charlie Kaufman is god. Believe it.

My feelings for the Dark Knight have been well documented in this thread.

Has anyone seen Moon with Sam Rockwell yet? I really wanted to but never got a chance when it was in theatres.

Let me know if you find it anywhere online to download. I've been trying but haven't had any luck.

On my que for netflix as soon as it gets released. Hear nothing but good things.

also for the horror buffs keep a look out for the new pandorum movie with denis quaid. it's getting sick sick reviews. REC2 tore up the toronto film fest, hear it is just as good as the first, which means its really really good. (only if your into the blair witch type camera action, but a much much better movie)

Celtic Pride is absolutely hilarious. Easily the most underrated sports flick of all time.

Just watched the documentary on LeBron James' high school team called "More Than a Game." Thought it was pretty good, but it was brutal to watch on MTV with the ridiculous amount of commercials.
Anyone know of any good hockey documentaries?

I have recently gotten Netflix and use it to discover new movies.

Movies so far:

Equilibrium
La Haine
Trailer Park Boys: The Movie
Swimming Pool

I also watch tons of documentaries on the deep sea... maybe I'm a nerd. Has anyone seen those movies? If so, thoughts?
