GDT: Calgary vs. Phoenix 24/03/04

Well, this is going to be an interesting game for sure. I really hope they pull this one out though, and a point at least from SJ, they could be right on Vancouver's tail if they can do that and will still have 4 games left to pass them.

Any guesses on the line-up?
Kipper or Turek? Will Kipper play back-2-back?
Predictions?

Just heard on headline sports that apparently, Turek's knee injury has flared up, so I would not be surprised to see Kipper the rest of the way.....

We need to get back in the win column. I say Kipper bounces back, as well as some offense (hopefully), for a 3-1 win.

Go Flames!

If the Flames can't beat the Yotes the Flames are in trouble. Their goaltending maybe the worst in the league.

Lowry is coaching?? AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!

It was a very low brow affair tonight. Turek didn't really have to be very spectacular but in getting the shutout he looked ok. I'm glad he got it though, if we are gonna be stuck with Turek he may as well have his game going. Nilson, Conroy, Iginila (39th and now tied with Kovalchuk and Nash), and Gelinas scored.

The officiating in this game was pretty bad. Brad Ference sucker punched Sonnenberg in the backhead of the head while he skated away from him, but it wasn't really much of a shot. Als on the Gelinas goal, he tipped the puck with his gloves while going for the puck into the net. I have no idea how that counted but it did. Hahahaha. Anyways, 4-0 Calgary is the bottom line.

Good assessment, I really do like that Ville-Nilly-Dono line.
