from toronto i would offer kaberle @ 4.25 mil, tlusty or stajan, 2 2009 2nd rnd pick and 2010 1st round also give 2nd rnd pick in 2011 if nash resigns and if nash doesn't resign get a 2nd rnd pick from columbus.. col gets some salary back but its not long term and taking kaberle salary is not a dump any way coz u wont find an elite dmen at his price

Theres no way I offer up all that when we can just wait until next offseason and make a push for him thru free agency.

i understand wat ur saying but there is no gurantee that he will be available for the free agency.. u need to over pay for superstars..

If he wants to play for Toronto then he will not sign a extension with Columbus and sign with us in 2010. Thats way too much to give up for a player that we have as good of a chance to sign as any other team outside of Columbus. I'll keep my assets and make a push thru free agency and if he decides to go elsewhere then so be it and we focus our attention somewhere else.
