Min-Bos

I never start these, but I was just thinking.

BOS:
Brent Burns

MIN:
Phil Kessel

-Fletcher has publicly said that he wants to open it up more next year. I live in Minny, and I'll tell you that fans here are clamoring for the Wild to finally have someone with local roots headlining the roster (Mark Parish was a bust)...Kessel would be a slam dunk. Losing Burns would be tough, but with Johnsson, Zidlicky, and Schultz all under contract you could fill in the other spots on D.

Not even if you change Kessel to Krejci and a add a pick.

These Kessel threads are getting so annoying. B's fans post how he doesn't score against playoff teams, how he is weak and soft, how they want to lock up Krejci way before Phil, how Lucic and Wheeler are more important....

yet they want another team's best asset for him. You can't have it both ways.

We have already discussed that Burns has a greater value than Kessel.

I don't know if you guys know this but Brent Burns has some serious post concussion symptoms. He might not be ready for next season and he may take a while to be the same player he was before.

EDIT: ah never mind it sounds like his symptoms have improved.

Anyway I think the trade would be relatively even. I don't know if both sides agree though. Burns is a number 1 defenseman. Is kessel a number 1 center/winger? Maybe in the east, not in the Northwest division.

Even so, he has more value then Kessel and if I was Minny I don't do that deal.
