Has anyone heard the rumor that The Habs and The Canucks are talking a trade of Luongo for Price in a package sending both back to there home province?

Subban would bring back AT LEAST Kesler, Hodgson, Edler, Burrows and a 1st. You don't trade a generational talent like Subban for anything less.

You can search for a thread on this back when it was first proposed by some zany media personality a few weeks back. Clearly it's nonsense and not even a rumour. To me, two non-sensities stand out:

1) The Canucks already have a long-term stud goalie-of-the-future in Schneider. So why give up having a stud goalie of the present too?

2) Luongo is too risky an asset for the Habs relative to Price... they wouldn't give up Price's longterm potential for what might turn out to be just a 1-year rental of Luongo.

It's a total non-starter from both sides.
