Quite a bit, considering his excellent contract and the fact that LA needs scoring wingers.
If Jack Johnson goes, then you can bet that they'd want a physical top 4 defenseman back.
Otherwise, it all depends on management and whether they think they're ready to compete or not. I think they are, but it's been quite a lengthy re-build for the Kings...regardless, LA is looking for a scoring winger and if you're giving one up then I'm not sure why you want Frolov in the first place.
Call me a homer, I don't care. If Frolov wanted to stay I would resign him. If he wanted to leave, I'd trade him away. But, he wants to remain a King for along time. I wouldn't trade him for Jeff Carter (unless Fro wanted to leave ofcourse). It's a good thing I am not a GM!!!
The time he has been with Kings he has not been in the playoffs so I don't know why he would want to go now. I think he wants be part of the re-building stage not taken out of it.
Have a feeling from watching him that he's a guy that would play small in the playoffs.
Quite the opposite. If the Kings ever made the playoffs, I would bet he is the only player that would show up
"It has not been a good day. I lost my glasses early this morning and I had to go buy a pair of 79 dollar reading glasses today. 79 bucks. You can literally get them at Costco, three-for-20." - Darryl Sutter's response to going up 2-0 in the series.
