I agreed with this. I dont think they will strip him of the C, especially when there is nobody on the team that is clearly better than him.

One thing i want to say though, unless Iginla steps it up, his days as a dominant player may be over. I dont think I saw him dominate the game as he's done in the past more than a couple times last year.

Yup he had a mediocre season. He didn't dominate as much as I expected him to, i think we can all agree to that. He's prolly his own biggest critic. I fully expect him to bounce back. He's a very hungry player and I expect nothing but a Hart Trophy candidate season from him next season. I have very high expectations for him next season, and I think he'll pull thru.

I'll admit I'm a bit surprised. Figured Crosby was going to win it.

Good for Iggy though. Despite all the crap he's taken on this site lately there is no other player I'd want leading the flames.

what a joke!

next year we don't make the playoffs under his "leadership". theres a really good article in the hockey news about the young guns in the league and how they're dominating, iggys time has come and gone.

seriously, do u guys believe everything the local hockey media tells u? are we a bunch of leafs fans in disguise out west?
