OK, so I've never posted in this thread, so I don't know if this is the right place for this sort of thing, but a day ago the Flyers roster had Pronger as #25 and Carle as #20. Today, Carle is back to #25, and Pronger's is blank. Anyone have any info on what Pronger's number is actually going to be?

Been a rough June...

Yemeni plane crashes off Comoros

Quote:
News Africa: Yemeni plane crashes off Comoros

An airliner belonging to the Yemeni state airline has crashed off the Indian ocean archipelago of Comoros.

The plane was carrying 150 passengers and crew, according to the Reuters news agency.

"We don't know if there are any survivors among the 150 people on the plane," Idi Nadhoim, the Comoros vice-president, told Reuters from the airport in the capital Moroni.

He said the accident happened in the early hours of Tuesday, but had no further details.

A Comoran police official said the aircraft was believed to have come down in the sea, but that the country has no sea rescue capabilities.

The Comoros covers three small volcanic islands situated 300km northwest of Madagascar and a similar distance east of the African mainland.

According to the Yemenia website, the airline uses the Airbus A310 aircraft on the route between Moroni and the Yemeni capital, Sana'a.

I'm not sure of the correct numbers but I have come across erroneous info in the past with regards to numbers on the NHL site. Sometimes when a player is traded, the last jersey number he wore is listed despite the fact that a new teammate is currently wearing it.

Whenever there is a press conference, there'll probably be a photo op with the new number.

Ed Belfour, who turned 44 last April, is working out near his suburban Dallas home as he seeks a return to the NHL.

For any team seeking a goaltending upgrade, Ed Belfour is tanned, rested and ready.
The future Hall of Famer, who turned 44 last April, is working out near his suburban Dallas home as he seeks a return to the NHL. Agent Ron Salcer confirmed that his long-time client has asked him to contact clubs to determine any interest level.
Quote:
While teams might be worried about his age and occasionally erratic off-ice behavior, Belfour still could be an affordable upgrade for several teams seeking goaltending help. Based on last season's play and subsequent offseason moves, the Avalanche, Flyers and Oilers are among a group of teams that might have an interest in the veteran.
On his Web site, www.belfour.com, the legendary goalie talks about his love for the game and competition.

If we were to sign him...I would start stalking the local bars in the hope of drinking with Emery and Belfour at the same time.

There would be dares involved.

If we sign Belfour, perhaps he could restore a muscle car for Emery. Then he'd no excuse to be late for practice.

I could totally see Emery in the '50 Mercury.

Yeah, I've noticed that before too, but the other day Carle's number had specifically been changed to #20, and Pronger was listed as #25. Now it's back to Carle as #25, and Pronger blank. Problem is, I already ordered a Pronger #25 jersey I better try to put that order on hold, until I know Pronger's number for sure.
