CJ on Souray's injury

just saw him on RDS...and he said it wasn't a concussion or a head injury..only an upper body injury. Could play tomorrow.

No we wont... the playoffs are just around the corner. You don't want to tell your opponent exactly where to hit to take out your best D...

Exactly.

We aren't going to hear squat for details on injuries from now on in. I'll bet we don't hear anything more than it's a day-to-day upper body injury.

Well if he can't reaggrevate it by playing tomorrow, I hope he plays.

I imagine the coaching staff will be cautious as possible with ALL injuries between now and the end of the regular season.

Call me a alarmist/pessimist, but after the Peters hit (which IMO should have been a penalty) Souray came up holding onto his wrist - not a good sign.

Heh.. and here I thought that when they said "Lower body" injury in another game I was watching that it was just a politically correct way of saying his protective cup wasn't as effective as it should have been.

I saw the exact same thing. I hope it's just a shoulder pull or something minor that he had to hold onto his arm for.

For all we know it could've been a wierd fall on his funny bone... That'd make his arm tingle (therefore hold it)... IMO he'll be back, we need him for the play-offs... But it'd be nice to have him back now so that he can get a couple of games in (he just came back from injury)

Can you guys stop talking about a wrist inury please. You are starting to scare me. I just hope he rests 2-3 games. Gets back into action in top shape, then takes 3-4 games to readjust and then goes into the playoff feeling better as he ever was.

They just said on rds, it was somewhere near his left "wrist?", but the canadiens keep telling media it's an upper body injury.

I disagree. He got hit on the shoulder. It's probably a bruised shoulder. As long as he's fully healthy for the playoffs, I'm happy. Hell, even if he isn't fully healthy it will be great. He was dynamite in 02 playing hurt.

At the risk of offending Ken Dryden, I hope Langdon beats the living crap out of that talentless goon Peters next game. The sooner contraction comes and garbage like that is banished to places like the ECHL, the better.
