OK. I will design your team as a Stanley Cup winner with a few "holes":

UFA - Lecavalier - St. Louis
Malone – Stamkos – UFA
Veilleux - Prospal - Downie/Artyukhin
Szczechura – Halpern – Craig ?

Öhlund - Meszaros
Hedman - Krajicek
Ranger - Walker (try to score on this)
Lashoff – Smaby

Smith
Helenius/Tokarski

What UFA forwards are there left? Tanguay, Sundin, Shanahan?

I would imagine now that you have Foster and are 7 D deep they likely let the RFA's walk or move them in a deal? Unless someone goes to the minors

Really hope Smaby and Lashoff come back, Lundin and Krajicek I like but am not attached to at all.

I'm hoping we dump Krajicek, Lundin, Mez and Vrbata in a package deal. That would get us a decent backup, a couple good prospects and save us a lot of cap space.

No to this...the other guys can beat it, but Meszaros stays. Hes gonna be good. Maybe really good. As long as he doesnt have to log 30 minutes and be the anchor to the defense like he was forced to be last year, he'll be just fine.

Except... no.

Fernandez isn't a starter and has a back made of glass, not to mention Smith is just flat better, minus the concussion. Kraj isn't a #4. He isn't even really a 6, but can fit there at times.

Affy is terrible. Tanguay is soft.

Smith blows, Plus if he gets hit in the head one more time hes gonna have trouble spelling his name let alone stopping a puck. maybe i picked the wrong goalie but we need to do something cause Smith is not the anwser all you uninformed people think he is. If you knew what I know.. you would agree with me.

Say no to the glassman (MF). I'm okay with us trading Mezsaros only if we get something good in return, which we may or may not. I'd prefer us to invest in Lashoff as the #2 of the future, behind Hedman as #1, Ranger would be 3. I'm trying to think of the future, even if a bit too much.

I agree he is terrible, but really Thomas won the Vezina last year, with results like that no goalie would have beat him for the starter spot.

He was also brought in at a time where Thomas was struggling and Fernandez could have fairly easily swiped the job from him, yet couldn't either because of poor play or injuries. Doesn't sound like a starting goalie to me, not meant to shortchange Thomas at all.

You pick apart his ****** lineup and he gets offended and tries to lash back...you penciled in Kracijek at #4. Apparently we aren't the only misinformed ones.

Key sign you usually don't know ****: You use phrases like "If you knew what I know" and call others "misinformed".

FAIL!
