This is an absolute must game for the Oilers. We are going to drop a point (at least) down the stretch, but it can't be against Phoenix, LA, or St.Louis. I think the boys will win this one. I want to see Jussi in net, Semenov in for Cross, and Isbister and York in for Hemsky and Chimera.

3-1 Oilers, nailbiter with an ENG.

I'm hoping the Oilers blow them out of the rink, just to save the wear and tear on my frazzled nerves.

If Huet plays 3-2 Oilers.

Hey gang, where's the love?

Before the Dallas game there were over 100 posts, now it's like a tomb in here.

I BELIEVE!

Hey Slats, MAB is on a 5 game scoring streak with 3-3-6pts, +3, and 11 shots. He's uberhot

this is their chance to pretty much end the Kings playoff hopes. If we win this without OT, that'd put the Kings six back with only five games left in the season. It's simple for the Oilers. Need three wins and two of them REALLY have to come against LA and St. Louis. I'm confident that another six points (89 total points) would do the trick. I'm confident that Nashville of St. Louis won't end up with 89. Let's keep our fingers crossed!! The way I see it, if we beat the blues we need the Preds to win that head to head game against the Blues too, and if we don't pull off a win against St. Louis then we need the Blues to beat Nashville in the head to head game. Oh, ya, I hope Jussi gets the start - althoug Conks played really good - just some fluky goals in the Dallas game and a nice one from Billy "Gay"rin.

I'm still choked about the loss to the Forces of Darkness, but let's get on the hate for the Kings:
-they've had so many injuries, you don't even know who their guys are anymore
-Anson Carter
-they should have folded the tent months ago, but they keep coming back, like zombies in a scary movie
-hurt our feelings when they snaked a win in that game a few weeks back
-Luc Robitaille: he's no Jimmy Carson
-ancient grudges: Gretzky, Kurri, Coffey, Huddy, McSorley all wearing the wrong threads, the Meltdown on Manchester, Marcel Dionne not sharing the Ross in 1980
-wouldn't trade Frolov, Grebeshkov, and three first rounders for Comrie
-the team is called the Kings, but technically it's Canada that is a constitutional monarchy, so they're really confused when it comes to regime designation

Please feel free to use any of these reasons, or offer some of your own to help whip the HF crowd into a frenzy!

Go Oil!

The Oilers win going away tonight. I won't pick a score but I will say they win by at least 3 goals. And MacT should let Conks ride the pine and go with Jussi the rest of the way. If Jussi gets us into the playoffs, then he should start them as well.

Biggest game of the year. A win and we have eliminated LA. lose and our playoff chances look grim. Last night was a good wake-up call for the oilers as they must surely realize how dire our straights are. Nashville and STL have the tie breakers, the lead, and an easier schedule. We have to win our games.

Oilers 5
LA 2

GO! OILERS GO! GO GET THEM! GET TWO POINTS!

I feel sorry for MacT on Adam Oates. He seems to have no choice but puts Adam out there although it is like next to zero help from this veteran, both defensive and offensive. Do you think MacT will have the gut to replace Oates by someone, anyone may perform better than him, especially this time to help the team? Just for the team success sake. If MacT dresses Oates and let him sit for most of the game, this may not help either. We have young and hungry players sitting in pressbox now. Just give them chance, they may score an important goal.

GO! OILERS GO!

I'll be shocked if we lose this one. The Kings have to be completely spent and demoralized after losing their 6th straight game. They're free-falling.

Dallas didnt even deserve to be in the last game. We are on a roll boys and girls. The big Oil machine is going strong. Tonight 16G+ are going to be pumping them up.

I BELIEVE!!!

Solid goaltending will put this one on the bank for us. Hit them every time they touch the puck.

ohya and dont put Oates on the ice if were up one with a minute to go...

GO OILERS!!!
