Always thought, and still do think, that J-Bo is overrated. Someone is going to way overpay for him this summer.

Keith now and future.

At some point, I stopped waiting for JBouw to reach his potential.

Hard poll because I like both players but I'd take Keith, such a talent.

Depends what kind of contracts they end up getting. Based on play alone, I'd give the edge to Bouwmeester because he has that additional bit of physicality that Keith lacks.

Sure wouldn't kick either one off my team for eating crackers in bed though.

I dont know why people think Bouwmeester is overrated,
He is one of the best skating Dmen in the league.
He hits and play the shutdown role.
He can put up nice numbers.
He has perfect size.
He's still very young.

He is like the ideal Dman.

I think this too, but wondering what other people would think.

Same here. Don't get me wrong, JBo is still a good defenseman...but whenever I watch him play he never impresses me, although I constantly hear how he's so great and everything.

It seems like nobody ever talking about him before the speculation of becoming an UFA

agreed

imo, keith is better than bouwmeester in almost every way.

bouwmeester is incredibly overrated on this site.

i doubt anyone (other than homers) would think bouwmeester is better if their draft position were switched.

so many on this site talk about bouwmeester as if he is 1 of the best few d-men in the NHL. keith already is.
