Pilar should be back in the lineup, the slow footed Marchment might be a liability when playing the fast skilled Sens. I love big healthy Young skilled players. This well be a test for Calle to judge his conditioning and foot speed, his passing seems a bit rusty hopefully he'll be back to primetime for the playoffs

My Playoff Defence if all healthy

McCabe Kaberle
Leetch Johansson
Berg Klee
With Pilar ready to replace any of the above, Pilar is a proven Playoff Performer.

My estimation Leetch and McCabe you've put too much in one basket, weakening the other two sets, Balance on all pairings are needed.

Well...the first game of the day went our way, with help from our brothers the Rangers. 3-1 win over Philly. Next we need our hated rivals of the Canadiens to take down the Bruins, and our boys in Blue to take out the Senators, if this all happens, I do believe, we vault into 2nd in the East.

.....Wow, I agree with you with exception of the Johansson passing comment and a Pilar playoff proven comment. So either I'm incredably wrong or hell just froze over.

Pilar's played very well in the games he's played in the playoffs but I don't feel it's enough to call him proven yet.

Look who made the comment. Nuff said. Mush has to be in the lineup against a team like the Sens. Especially with no Klee

If you weren't so new, you'd know that I'm a hardcore Leafs fan.

The fact that I like the Sens as well doesn't make me any less of a Leafs fan.

Well....

You're a big Leafs fan. It just wouldn't hurt if you could grow a little hate for the Sens

OK, it's not technically mutually exclusive to be a hardcore Leaf fan and to like the Sens. And while I can't like the Sens myself, I can understand your affection for those talented, but fairly nasty, Sens. After all, even cockroaches and other vermin have their champions.

When I was younger, I used to love the Sens. I was a big fan of the Yashins and Daigles and Neckars of the world. Of course, it helped that they played in a different conference. It's all different now.

How about a penalty-free first period for the Leafs?

Might help some. 32-21 PPs in favor of Oddawa this year so far.

A fan of Daigle? Not much to cheer for, was there?

In grade 6 I thought Yashin and Daigle were going to be the next Yzerman/Fedorov! When they drafted Bonk I thought they'd win a hundred Stanley Cups or something. It was nuts.

Forget Daigle, I can't believe he was a fan of Yashin...

The #18 doesn't look right without 'McCauley' below it

As, I can remember when Bonk was first drafted. Thought to be the sure fire 90pt superstar with good defensive skills to pair with the future stars in Yashin/Daigle.
Daigle was supposedly about to break out into his future Hart trophy form.
Lindros was just beginning to fulfill his massive potential at that time.

Rather amusing looking back at it all...

I asked for a penalty free first period, not a shot free period

Huge game tonight, not to mention this and the other recent games against Ottawa are a possible preview for the playoffs.
