Martin Jones Named to Team Canada's Tryout

Exciting news for us Kings fans! Martin Jones has been named one of only 4 goalies who will be trying out for Canada's National Junior team this coming August. Hopefully he lights it up and is named our starting goaltender and we can all watch him lead Canada to another Gold medal!!

The nice thing is by the time the draft is over the Kings will have a third player on that list.

Hey, the draft is very exciting and I would love it if we drafted MSP, Schenn or Kane but I'm not so sure. . . It's not like last year when I was 100% sure we were using the pick.

On a more serious note, Team Canada's camp will be here in Saskatoon this summer. I plan to take in a couple sessions and likely one or both of the Red and White games. Its nice to see that the Kings will be well represented on Team Canada again this year.
