Agreed, Isn't Anything is also an excellent album, but Loveless is almost untouchably good

Been listening to In Flames' "A Sense of Purpose"
This gets a lot better after the 1:30 mark and the song is a lot mellower than their older stuff...I think

These aren't off of their newest album but still great nonetheless.

Circa Survive? Seriously? I'm sorry, but I don't understand the lovefest that everybody gives them. I went up to see Taking Back Sunday in Allentown probably a good 3 years ago and Circa Survive was playing with them, and dude sounds like he's a dying cat when he sings. I don't know how they sound on albums because after that experience I vowed to never subject myself to listening to them again, but maybe they're just not good live? And add on top of that he was wearing a weird ass sea turtle t-shirt that he kept feeling the need to point out through the entire show. Strange guy.
*poof*
Do you believe in magic? <---- Opus, I'm just gonna go ahead and blame that on you. Damn mods and their overabundance of power.

I just got back from the North Star Bar down on 27th and Poplar, there was one band we didn't stick around for, but saw a good show, including the
Victor Victor Band . Male on guitar with energy, female on drums and keyboard -
simultaneously. Pretty interesting to watch. Y-Rock plays Lost & Found by them every now and then. Another band gave out juice boxes.

It was only the 2nd time I was there, but it was pretty cool. My friend is actually friends with the person who booked the Victor Victor Band.
Desperately want to go to the TLA on Monday and see Camera Obscura.
