Matt Duchene vs. Brayden Schenn

So, 2 highly touted centers, what are their strengths and weaknesses, and who do you think is better/will be better?

To be honest, I see them both constantly hitting between the 50-60 point mark and getting paid between 4-5 mill (or whatever that is with a different salary cap), and having relatively similar careers.

Really, that seems kind of low. I figure 70-80 for both should be attainable when they're in their primes.

well, duchene is somewhat a late bloomer in comparison to schenn, and his speed is extremely exciting, however IMO he does not have schenn's hands....

similar size, not that you could tell by watching them play... schenn plays big, duchene uses his size in his speed & positioning...

both will likely see another year of junior, and are primed to meet in the memorial cup next year (actually thats a lie, everyone knows windsor is going to repeat as OHL champs...hall, ellis, panik, fowler, and talks of drafting tatar)

both are very safe picks, both have a very high low end (said 50 pts once they are 24+)... IMO it is unlikely schenn could ever break 95 pts... and i think duchene at his highest potential could do just that (100pts)... however... i still prefer schenn... same reason i take getzlaf/richards/etc... the grit and intangibles are worth so much more then a few points.

They'll both contribute to the team in their own way, making it difficult to say "who's better."
