When Jon Sim got healthy, the isles demoted him to Bridgeport last season.

He's got 1 yr/$1m left on his deal.I'm sure they'd love it if someone took him off their hands.

As a fellow Sharks fan, I will disagree with you. I would say the players most likely to move are (in order of likelihood):

- Cheechoo
- Clowe
- Lukowich
- Murray
- Michalek
- Ehrhoff
- Nabakov

I don't see the bottom 4 on that list as being very likely at all, but it's remotely feasible. One of Cheechoo or Clowe will almost certainly be moved, and depending on what comes back and what Clowe wants for his new contract, both could be moved.

Why only a remote chance of trading Marleau? Year after year, the Sharks and Marleau disappoint in the Playoffs. Why keep bringing him back? What's the logic there?

Marleau has an NMC, has a new child who is just a few months old (and another who is still pretty young), and his wife is from San Jose. All of which makes it very unlikely that the Sharks could trade Marleau even if they want to.

I would love it if Clowe got traded to Pittsburgh.

For Minnesota Harding for sure will be shopped around and most likely traded for some picks and/or prospects. Other then that I'm sure Fletcher would be willing to discuss everyone on the roster but no one for sure will be shopped hard at the draft.

Some Bruins fans suggested M. Sturm could be dealt to create salary cap space.

Cheechoo (70%)
Clowe (25%)
Marleau (30%)
Ehrhoff (20%)
Nabokov (40%)

why put that next to clowes name when Michalek is 2-3 years younger and Vlasic is 5 years younger. anyway Ehrhoff is much more likely to be dealt than any other defenseman if you as me.

But he's a great sweetener: if Florida offered Horton + 2nd for Heatley Ottawa would look elsewhere to get a top 6 F + a top 4 D but if Bouwmeester's rights were added, it might be the best deal out there.

I see no reason for the Bruins to trade Ryder. He had a very nice bounce back year and played very well in the playoffs. Having just signed him as a UFA, I just don't see that happening.

The problem is a) His health and b) his playing style is more of what the Sabres already have.

Also, there are a glut of young AHL defensemen who not only play a similar style, but are cheaper and likely ready to play in the NHL.

For Toronto, Kaberle most definitely needs to be there, as does Mike Van Ryn

Like most teams Edmonton is trying to clear cap space. They are rumoured to be wanting to make a splash this summer, so why not start at the entry draft.

Tomas Plekanec if anyone needs a smallish speedy 3rd line center with offensive upside.
