I dont think anyone can offer as much as Toronto can.

1) Allaire
2) AHL team in Toronto
3) Shakey starter, backup position open
4) AHL starter role open
5) Free pass from media

Some might question #5, but Toronto and the media seem to be onboard for a rebuild done right. Only the vets really took any heat in the media last year.

That said, its still anyones game.

I hope Colorado gets him, but I think he'll sign with the Leafs.

If the defense in front of him matters as much as his camp is saying it does, it will be the Sharks. That just doesn't seem to be as important as they say it is.

1) Allaire - Moog (have turned out starting goalies like Turek, Fernandez, Ellis ans Smith)
2) AHL team in Toronto - AHL 4 hrs away
3) Shakey starter, backup position open - Same think in Dallas
4) AHL starter role open - Same thing in Dallas
5) Free pass from media - Texas Media in regards to hockey>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Toronto Media.

During his Sportsnet interview, he mentioned he doesn't mind the media scrutiny and doesn't view it as a negative. He also said nice things about the Toronto fanbase being passionate.

Gustavsson has attended Allaire's goalie camps in the past and The Monster's idol Patrick Roy was trained by him as you probably know by now as it's been said enough times, so the Leafs probably have the advantage in that one but in all the other catagories Dallas ties or wins.

Personally I have no idea where he will end up. I can see Toronto, Dallas, and Colorado all as very appealing to him, not sure about San Jose but he could see the location as a reason to go there too. I'm just hoping he chooses (Toronto) soon and doesn't drag this out.

I want to say Toronto, though I wouldn't be surprised to see him end up in Dallas.
