I'm not sure I like that idea. Putting phrases from the anthem on there feels kind of awkward. You don't see Canada tossing "our home and native land" or "fleurons glorieux" on theirs.

Here is another pic. It is just USA's regular uniform from the World Juniors and World Championships last year with the block USA instead of the normal logo.

http://twitpic.com/e8trb

Also wearing 1960's Ranger knockoff throwbacks.

Here you go....

The Blue ones are supposed to to have a torch for the Statue of liberty, some native american things, Stars/Stripes, then a hispanic thing. I am guessing the torch and so on are in the Stars on the shoulders cause when they came out, they described all this stuff, so we were expecting some crazy arsed jersey. Then it was all normal like.

they took them off right after introduction and went to prcatice jerseys.

All players had their regular NHL club #'s for now, so parise/Bobby Ryan/Modano all wore 9

Did you click on it.

Anyway, i am firewalled from Imageshck/photobucketa nd all that crap, so i just posted it on A Walmart album

http://photos1.walmart.com/shareethu.../otsi=SALBlink

Some quick notables: The shot club reconvened after the group finished. Gomez Joined, as did Drury, and Malone. some of the last pics. Parise and Langenbrunner wer the last ones off the ice. Parise was directing Langs/Gomer/Drury/Malon what to do as shot drills. Gomer still had a tough time receiving the puck.

We were Second in line to get in and wei got interviewed a few itmes. They asked about the Kane Fiasco, and how i thought the US would Fare in the Olympics.

From group 1:

Paul Martin did not skate...they said some kind of Injury, so we may have to ask TG about it. Okposo and Kessel did not skate either for injury reasons. (my guess was Kessel did not participate because he is not under contract and may be insurance reasons.)

Standouts:
TJ friggin Oshie. I just couldnt stop watching the kid. He was flying. had some nice rippin shots.
Rafalski- looked like he was the Vet and was heads and shoulders a better passer than any other D man in the group.
JOe Pavelski- Just like this kids hustle
Kane- fan Fav, so he put on a little show.

Mehs:
Bobby Ryan- seemed to coast a lot, but he has a knack for the Net. he seemed to puck hog a bit also. Still a big boy though, and would have liked to see him turn it up. he was sitting at the side of the net working on rebound work.
David Booth- I hate to say this cause i really lie the kid. He was solid at the begining, but during Drills you could tell he was a bit out of shape. He lagged and was huffing.
Tim Gleason- I know he is not there for his O, but he needs to work on his passing.

Group 2:
Was paying a lot of attention to our Devs, but here goes:

Standouts:
David Backes- this guy better make the team, he has it all, and dude had a smile on his face 10 miles wide.
Gomez: Still love to see him carry the puck, and while playing with Parise/Langer it would be a very dynamic line (yes they were together for a bunch of drills)
Parise: obvious reasons, kid is always in the right spot,
Modano: this guy does not age, still love to see his jersey flap while skating.

Meh's:
didnt see much bad from this group, you could tell they were having much more fun than the first group, but the person who looked a bit out of place
Eric Johnson- obviously he is still rehabbing, but he was not there yet.

Thank you, I forgot who I was talking to before about Oshie making the olympic team, and how vastly underrated he is on these boards.

Edit:

Ha it was you CWE, you told me 99% he wasn't going to make the team.

Thanks for the pics and update btw.

I think he must know that he is not a shoe-in, so he was busting his butt, and it showed.

Oh and Chelios was there as a Special Guest..... He was participating in drills and looked like he was trying out to show he still has it.

But i will say he gave George Hamilton a run for the money on the Tan. He was Darker that Bufyglien!!!

You guys able to view the photos alright?

Martin was not there...Well he was signing Autographs but they said he had some injury-----I emailed TG about it to see if he can dig something up.

All the players wore their NHL club #'s. So there were duplicates...
