Yea but considering our past history of drafting Sioux players drafting Oshie seemed plausible and a smart decision considering our success with UND players

Oshie wasnt consider a 1st round pick when he was drafted, he wasnt even in attendance at the draft because he did not think he would be drafted in the 1st. Blue took a huge chance and it worked out great for them.

I cant ****ing wait for the Olympics next year. I will be buying a Team USA Zach sweater. Of course a part of me will also be with Team Canada if Marty is the starter.

Haha. It's weird that I'm still root for him in Montreal and for team USA after all he's done. I hated him in New York though.

As for the reception the players got: Langs got the same one as most others, but Parise got a pretty warm reception. The difference was in the first group that arena was jam packed. When the first session ended a ton of people went into the Atrium to try and get autographs. The place was less than half full when group two came out.
Rafalskis got Booed pretty bad with what started a Detroit Sux chant.

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention something funny.

Langenbrunner Beat Jonathan Quick Blocker side banking it off the corner Pipe that made a clank sound. It Got a rouse from the crowd, and a huge smile from Langenbrunner. While he skated back to the drill line, he did a fist pump and he and Gomez were cracking up.

I was cracking up when i saw it. It was hard to explain. It was like a kid hitting the spot he was going for, but kinda surprised he got it and wanting to rub it in.

Like I said, you could tell the Second group was having much more fun. I think it may have been becase they were the more Veteran bunch, and what seemed to be a very Eastern conference group....

Was thinking of going out today also, but i don't want to piss the bosses off. They know hockey is more important that work. But i have to suck it up sometimes.... Maybe i'll take an early lunch.

The IOC ****ing blows. Those jerseys would have been so much better with the USA Hockey logo.
