13 (BUF): RW - Scott Glennie
66 (BUF): LW - Alex Hutchings
104 (BUF): LW - Justin Florek
133 (BUF): C - Ben Sexton
163 (BUF): RW - Jordan Szwarz
193 (BUF): D - Daniel Senkbeil

Dont really know a lot about these guys except Glennie and Sexton. Wouldn't mind Glennie at 13, but if Kadri is there (as he is in this draft) i would take him instead.

Decent draft for the Wings, can't see them taking 2 goalies with 5 under contract for next year. Although, you can never guess what the Wings will do.

No way in hell the Kings take four goalies in rounds 4-7. Who was doing the picking? Kind of silly if you ask me. The Kings have Quick and Ersberg in LA, while Bernier and Zatkoff are playing pro, and Martin Jones is with the Hitmen. Lombardi may not even draft one goalie let alone four.

I like this draft for the Oilers.
I love the first two picks, not impressed with the rest.

Everyone could draft in this thread lol. That's why this happened, same things with my Ducks, didn't pick one single defenseman. When anyone can make selections it doesn't get very accurate, but the point with this thread was to learn some new names.

It was nessecary that anyone could make selections if this mock was gonna be done before the real deal.

This one will be more legit as it holds certain GM's for the teams:
http://hfboards.com/showthread.php?p...9#post20018629

However, it won't be done before the real draft.

Bennett is a solid 3rd round pick. He's a smooth skating, puck-moving dman from Hotchkiss Prep whose committed to Michigan for '10.

It'll be a helluva draft if the Isles land Tavares, Shore, and Erixon in the first couple rounds.

23 (NJD): RW - Zach Budish
54 (NJD): D - Matthew Clark
73 (NJD): LW - Kyle Clifford
84 (NJD): D - Gabriel Lemieux
114 (NJD): G - Jean-Francois Berube
143 (NJD): D - Ben Chiarot
173 (NJD): D - Nate Schmidt
203 (NJD): G - Nathan Lieuwen

I admit that after the first few, I don't know much/anything about them, but the lack of a puck moving skating defenseman and a skilled center makes this draft seemingly a bad one. The first round pick of Budish, when players like De Haan, Leddy, and others are still available would have me drinking very heavily if it came true on draft day.

Rajala, Fallstrom, Bertilson, Erickson...

If the Hawks pick four Europeans in their first five picks...hell will surely freeze over.

So, because you're not aware of who those guys are, it's a bad draft?

Isles will probably take a goalie late.

If my team drafted those kinds of players I would be HAPPY.

And that's where I was confused. Emocons don't really have the emotion of OMG! ZOMG! WHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE! I guess I'm old fashioned.
