Junior Lessard!

I think Flyers should try to sign this kid...

Bob McKenzie: Remember the name Junior Lessard - he'll be signing with an NHL team in the not too distant future. He's a Quebec kid at the University of Minnesota-Duluth. They're in the playoffs this weekend, but if they're eliminated there will be 10-15 NHL teams looking to sign this forward. In 42 games with the Bulldogs this season, he tallied 28 goals and 59 points.

Yeah I just opened threads about him on the Habs board, NCAA board and Prospect board and no one wants to talk about him.

he is a Hobey Baker Award Finalist. the Flyers should definitely be interested in this kid. he is not big (6-0 200lbs.) but he is a very skilled foward.

6' 200lbs is plenty big. How good a skater is he is the question we need to ask.

They should have been interested in Thomas Pock as well, and did nothing.

I'm thinking he'd sign with a team where he would get more ice time, right away (Carolina, Florida, Columbus)

You know for a fact they did nothing to try and sign him?

There are tons of free agents out there and 30 teams. You can't expect the Flyers to sign every one of them.
