It would be close if it's Koivu, but it's Henrik although not by much.

I guess it depends on your defenition of "better".

Henrik - PPG center that is excellent in the offensive zone and mediocre in the nuetral and defensive zone.

Mikko - Potential PPG center ( Playing for the Wild doesn't help ) that is excellent in all three zones. Capable of checking superstars into the ice.

Mikko is very similar to Kesler. I have to go with the Fin.

Koivu will be the better player but Henrik Sedin puts up more points.

Why do people say that Henrik is mediocre in 2/3 of the ice? That just isn't true. For an offensive star, he's actually quite solid in the other zones.

Went with Sedin but this is really close. I've heard that Minny wants to play more up tempo (and not that boring all out defense crap) so it'll be interesting to see what Koivu does in a new system.

Exactly. He's no Zetterburg, but he's solid but unspectacular outside the offensive zone, and, often, his cycling skill works as best defence is a good offence system.

A couple years ago when the Canucks had the best PK in the league Henrik and his brother were a huge part of that. They don't kill penalties much anymore as Vigneault prefers to use others and rest the twins for the eventual make up calls.

Hank is all of that, except for a captain.

Saying Sedin is "mediocre" on 2/3's of the ice is laughable. He and his brother are the reason why the Canucks had one of the best PK in the league a couple of seasons ago.

Offense - Henrik but not by much
Defense - Koivu (Henrik is good too but not good enough)
Physicality - Even i guess
Leadership - Koivu

Its very tough to say who is better, but i would definitely take Koivu over Sedin any day of the week. He just has that desire to win, gives his all every shift and he has that special passion for the game many players dont have.
