The best of luck to him wherever he ends up (unless it's on a NW rival).

could really care less. I now he scored 30+ but I didn't like him, I think there is better out there with a more physical performance.

I've heard he's asking in the $6 million range. Not worth more than $5 imo.

Dissapointing but definetly not a big surprise. Was holding out hope that he would resign for about 5 million. Hopefully he doesn't go to the Canucks.

Alex Tanguay anyone? I think he'd look pretty good with Iggy and Jokinen. Plus, he might be a bit more willing to come back since Keenan isn't around anymore. Though i think he might be out of our price range.

True. I think a realistic deal is 3/12-14m. I highly doubt anyone will go insane and give him a 4 year deal worth $22m+.

he's really not though... Jokinen skates as well as Cammalleri... he is a better playmaker than Cammalleri... he is much better defensively than Cammalleri... he is much more physical than Cammalleri... he is just as good offensively as Cammalleri... and Jokinen has never gone after that big payday unlike Cammalleri

Completely agreed. People look at Cammalleri's numbers and Calgary's issues after the Jokinen deal and are reaching faulty conclusions.

I actually like Cammalleri and think he's very good at what he does. He's a hell of a goal scorer... but that's all he does. If he doesn't score, he's entirely useless. Too small and weak on the puck. He'll get his payday based on his goal scoring numbers..

Jokinen is a much better all around player and a better piece going forward for this team.

Obviously, very disappointed about his choice to test the UFA Market...

But, i think Jokinen brings more to the team than Cammalerri. So for the flames, it's a good thing. We have some cap space ...Bye Bye Cammy !

trying to stay optimistic about this one. i mean hopefully sutter can pull more draft day magic, clear some cap space and get the deal done by next week.. but in all honesty i just don't see it happening.

if not its been great having him here and i hope he finds success wherever he chooses to sign.

I honestly think the Flames could afford to bring Cammy back. By their actions by pretty much killing all conversation between the 2 parties, I think this shows a strong indication the Flames are going to target J-bo very strongly. And I would be very happy with that, if we lose Cammy and Aucoin and pick up Jbo in the process, then I think that is awesome!
