Hoping Kassian slips to 15th.

Joe Nieuwendyk shows us how to announce a draft pick. Short and sweet.
And Bob McKenzie was wrong footed, that's a rarity

Glennie looks like he's 12 years old.

Some surprises with Glennie and Kadri going a little higher.
I kind of wanted Glennie and would have entertained a move up for him.

Not to mention the big shiny thing we got as a bonus in '07.
Worth it.

I'd shy away from Kassian: Ducks-type player but high bust potential.
To that list I'd add Moore also.

Per James Mirtle.

Tampa Bay are looking to move up and get another first rounder
Lawton: "We are trying to move up for another first round pick...offered our two second rounders or possibly next years first."
They have 32 and 52 IIRC, anyone interested? I don't think it's enough personally.
Although I'm intrigued about maybe taking a gamble on how they do next year

I wonder if the acquisition of Sbisa will change our plan for the selection in this draft. Hopefully not, but our prospect pool definitely need a good forward.

I'd trade both our firsts this year for Tampa's first next year. Taylor Hall anyone?

It could easily end up that way, I'd be interested to see the asking price for that pick.

Ha.
Will Edmonton get an Anze Kopitar-like value with their dropping player? Or will they get a Rob Schremp/Lauri Tukonen?

I'd shy away from Kassian too, he's not going to be as good as people think..

Nashville took Ellis: good, I didn't want him, he's like Bettman' size

If you want D, Moore > Ellis IMO.

The good thing about Ellis was that he wasn't supposed to be soft despite his size.
I'm neither high nor low on him.
Our pick is coming up soon.

Minnesota can't even get a 2nd round pick for 12? And 77 isn't a particularly high 3rd either...
edit: de Haan. Wow. I liked him, but not #12 overall liked.
