This makes me happy. This guy will be very good one year. Not sure if he will be on the team next year, but I am sure he will do everything possible to make the decision difficult.
There's no way for anyway to know if Kane will make the team yet. We won't know that till training camp.
I have a feeling he's pretty much guaranteed a 9 game try-out if he doesn't look absolutely lost during camp. After that is anybody's guess, but I really think DW and JA give him an opportunity this year.
TSN guys said he's like a Kirk Maltby type of guy "Swedish agitator".... was a possible 1st rounder yesterday (projected 28th at TSN)..

International Scouting Services: "Klingberg is a very talented playmaking winger who can also play center. He has great touch with the puck and is particularly strong on the PP. A very fluid and powerful skater, he is constantly in motion and understands the offensive zone very well, especially away from the puck. He always seems to get open at the right times and is not afraid to get to the net to make a play and with his great 6'03” 205lbs frame, he is very hard to contain inside the slot. Can really take over the offensive zone. Showed ability, skill and speed to beat defender wide and then cut back to the net. Displayed a good shot with quick release. Big player who skates well, plays physical, and is willing to go to those tough areas to score.
The TSN guy asked him what style is his game... he personally said his style is "like Ovechkin"... hey, he's thinking in the right direction regardless if the skill isn't Ovechkinesque.
That was a direct quote from Klingberg.
He said he plays with "high intensity", likes to "hit hard", "go to the net"..

He does play exactly exact Ovechkin, except he doesn't put the puck in the net as often.
It appears that Bogosian and Morin know each other, they are both from the Syracuse area, and the Blueland Blog just said that Bogo texted them that he liked the pick.
