My guess is a mid-level prospect with a conditional 2nd rounder

I'm guessing third round pick with conditional 1st in next years draft if he signs.

I see no more than a 2nd. I expect a 3rd.

JBo could be dead set on free agency..The panthers took a risk by keeping at the deadline and it bit them in the ass

Pushing for the playoffs and not taking the supposed best deal which was Raymond and a pick is a bite in the ass? Such a stupid statement.

im not saying that if they get the supposed 3rd and likely conditional 1st that is rumored it would still be a bite in the ass im saying that if he leaves for nothing it would be

Teams let players walk every season, good and great ones, pushing for the playoffs trumps what was rumored. It didn't work, partly due to Jay's play after the deadline.

And to think what they could have had if they traded him at the deadline.

Darrent Dreger on his twitter says:

"Florida says unless something unusual surfaces tonight, Bouwmeester won't be traded tonight."

So doesn't look like there was a deal made.

The Panthers have to trade him, don't they?

Even if they only get a 7th round pick, it's better than nothing.
