I would think about a trade of Johnson for Kessel. One RFA for another and both coming off injuries. No way would I include the #5 pick.

while this is a fantasy report, it's highly accurate.

i love kessel with the Bs, but he's been the subject of trade rumors since before the trading deadline.

Then its guaranteed! DL loves to acquire players that aren't 100% healthy!!

Yeah, definitely not the number 5, but it would take a little something more.

Wait....who has shown you to be more worthy of the #5 pick? And please don't tell me Tavares/Hedman/Duchene/Kane/Schenn/Cowen/MSP/LeBlanc/etc.

We're talking about using the #5 pick on a player who has scored 36 goals in the NHL, not an unproven prospect.

actually BOs gets hosed... It would make more sense to throw toronto out of the pic and just do kessel for the 5th.. Still wouldnt do it as a B's fan though. Kessel is only 21 and if he were in this draft would easily go top 3..

Please understand the OP based this off of what TSN reported as an offer from BOS to TOR. The report was that Boston offered Kessel + non-1st rd pick for Kaberle and the 7th....NEVERMIND

Now I notice what was changed. I agree, Boston won't go for this. They were getting the 7th pick in the reported proposal. Without that pick, of course Boston wouldn't do this.

This was obviously based on the Kessel plus pick for Kaberle rumor. That to me is crazy
