Yeah, it's great that you want to talk to people, but at least have a little pop-up when a pick is made.

Come on.

agreed.. they think people dont care/know about the players, but why would it be televised if we didnt care?

i would love it if no one was talking and we could just hear the announcements haha

I hear they're on twitter, hence them being twitter sites.

The NHL Network coverage isn't very good, but if you have the tracker from NHL.com on the side, you can really make out what happens. It's not bad actually, especially considering the 2nd day was never covered until recent years.

Plus, Bob McKenzie is on today which is a bonus because of the wealth of information he provides. In past years, the 2nd day of the draft didn't feature any of the NHL on TSN big guys.

yeah, it stinks.

Is there a streaming audio feed somewhere? Right now I just feel like listening.

I'll personally say that this is the best late round coverage in the last few years.

Be thankful these rounds are even being shown on television.

Hockey fans act like spoiled babies way too much.

Agreed... The NFL budget for the draft is probably in the millions the viewership for the NFL draft is through the roof... someone said it themselves only hardcores are watching today...

I don't think they're too worried about the quality of programming satisfying a couple of hundred hockey geeks sprinkled around the globe at this stage of the draft.

I think it is pretty good. Better then any of the coverage of the 2+ rounds that I can remember. Though, it would be nice if they had a little thing pop up with all the picks and trades

the coverage is ok but then again it's 2 thru 7, now this is the only break i will take from watching the draft but i wish they show some of the picks or at least have a little thingy that says this guy is drafted by this team. Oh well mainly hardcore hockey fans are watching this so there's not gonna be much budget

I know there's a limited budget, but they really need to get some graphics up on the screen that detail who was just picks, what picks are coming up, and defnitely some way to detail when trades happen and the compensation. You can always hear a trade being announced in the background and it would be nice to know what those deals are.

It's nothing different than the NBA or NFL drafts. Relax.

The radio coverage (at least on NHL's XM channel) was pretty poor too.

They're all like 'yak yak yak' about nothing in particular and 'they're picking so fast we can't keep up with telling you about it!'

When really, I'd rather just a live feed of the naming of the picks - and then cut off to a quick description of who the person was - their scouting rank, their position, where they were playing - that sort of thing.

Easier than just having them yammer off about the first round some more.
