Kristian Husselius won the #8 poll, a big thank you to those of you who voted, it's time to move onto the #10 poll.

wow, does anybody remember scott hannan? he was the best sharks' defenseman during their best four year run and was on the gold medal winning canadian olympic team.

Eh, no he wasn't. He was on the 2004 World Cup team, though.

In retrospect this appears to be a pretty bad year.

You should add Matt Cooke next.

How? I see 7 all-star/superstar players, a couple of likely future HoF'ers. Not every draft will yield 10+ all-star/superstars.

oops, you're right. and, ironically, the guy currently winning this poll, eric brewer, was on both the 2002 olympic team and the 2004 world cup team. still, hannan has had easily the better career of the two, and has meant far more to his team, both in the regular season and playoffs, than sammy or "never follow three swedes to a second location" huselius.
