I look for Wudrick to boost his stock this season. I really like this guy as a late bloomer...moreso than Czarnik.

I'll wait until prospect camp when I actually see some of these guys live to compare and judge then.

Not only have you probably NEVER seen him play, at least more than once, you fail to recognize that he wasn't the only goalie in the dub that had stats like his (which is UNDOUBTEDLY why you're ranking him so high), and his weren't even the best in some categories.

give me a break. These are all just rehashes of some version HF or a prospects mag put out with a little personal spin. If these had any, even slight dose of reality, Hickey and Bernier would be 1/2 on every single list, with almost no exceptions, and Loki would be top 5 on each.
Wow, Sweating a little... Ok, I resent the slight on my character with the whole rock cocaine thing, I've gotten past that, why can't you? Second, since I've only seen four of these people skate I figured I'd bust out the ouji board for an assist(btw, I've quit my job, left my family and bought a bus ticket to begin my walkabout through Canada so that next years version of this list will be more filled with juicy info.) here goes...
Moller
Schenn
Hickey
Bernier
Teubert
Lewis
Loktionov
Voinov
Jones
Purcell
.............

With comments floating around about Bernier and all of his natural talent I find it odd that he is only ranked higher than #3 by everyone but 1 person.

Bernier has the ability to be the biggest thing to happen to the Kings in a very very very....very very long time.

A goalie with the ability be one of the best ever and he isnt ranked higher????????

Yeah, but what have you done for me lately?

At least, that is my interpretation of the phenomenon. That and he is #3 on HF's rankings because he is taking time to develop in the minors. Until he has solid time in the NHL, he will be an underrated prospect compared to his potential.

But he is a goalie. He is right on track as far as progress goes.

And by Lombardi's own admission he was great in the final stretch at Manchester so as far as "lately" goes, than most recently he played great. If you look at his stats they were better than Quick's.

And other than Oscar....which prospect has played more NHL games than Bernier? The other players have played zero....combined even!

How can I still be a prospect after 5 years at HF? I have moved on like great Jens Karlsson, Yannick Lewho? and Jared Aulin.

Matt13 HF Ranking: -1.5 Grade F

The Kings informed Windsor that

Quote:
The Windsor Spitfires bid farewell to a key piece of this year's Memorial Cup championship puzzle Monday and will try to replace it today.

Windsor released Russian centre Andrei Loktionov Monday after being told by the NHL's Los Angeles Kings that he would not be back with the Spitfires this season.

"It was tough to do, but he's going to turn pro," Spitfires general manager Warren Rychel said.

While the 19-year-old Loktionov still has a year of junior eligibility remaining, he can play in the American Hockey League because the Kings selected him out of Russia.

Loktionov, who had 66 points in 51 regular-season games this season for the Spitfires and 33 points in 20 games in the playoffs, can be claimed by another team in today's European Import Draft, but that doesn't trouble Rychel.

"He's open to all three leagues, but I've talked to (Kings president and general manager) Dean Lombardi and he's going to turn pro," Rychel said.

Thanks for the heads up about Loktionov. Thats great, I cant wait to see how he performs at the pro level. Manchester should be much improved this season.

I think Schenn is the only one of this draft that should be in our top-20nbut he isn't top-5. I'm not impressed by the rest.
